Elgin Bowling Club
Was established in 1865 and will celebrate its 150th anniversary in 2015. The club is open to membership of all age groups and aims to foster and promote the game of bowls. Hat nights are held on Tuesdays and Saturdays and on many occasions during the season the green capacity reaches the maximum required for the session.
Organisations outwith the bowling regularly book the green to try their hand at the game with a few individuals taking membership.
During the season, friendly matches are played against local clubs on a regular home and away basis. Many of the more experienced players participate in the district association ties and tournaments and Bowls Scotland national qualifying competitions.
