Active Schools

Active Schools

Active Schools is a national network of staff working across Scotland, and locally across all schools in Moray, to provide opportunities for young people to participate in a free programme of extra-curricular sport and physical activity. The team work to increase the number of opportunities available by recruiting volunteers, and also build partnerships with clubs and community organisations to create a ‘pathway’ for participants. The latest annual report can be viewed here: Active Schools 2025 – 2026 report

  • Previous Job Roles: Youth Work, and I am also a qualified Nursery Practitioner.
  • Sports I Compete in: I love lots of different sports, but I am a competitive dancer. I also teach dance in my local area and enjoy going to the gym.
  • Looking forward to: I look forward to working in a new area, providing sporting opportunities for lots of children and hopefully helping them find something they love.
