The Moray Club Accreditation Scheme plays a vital role in developing public
participation in sport by promoting safe, effective, and responsible practices within
sports clubs. As well as sport clubs, the accreditation scheme may also apply for
organisations and business providing sporting opportunities. The scheme’s primary
objective is to raise standards across all sports clubs, instilling confidence in
participants regarding the quality of care they will receive. Accreditation will be
required for all sport clubs that deliver sessions for young people and/or vulnerable
adults, that book facilities with the Moray Council Sport & Leisure Team, and/or work
in partnership with the Active Schools & Community Sport Team.
