Context
Around 10 years ago the Banffshire Branch presented each school in our area with a copy of a dancing pack called ‘Jigs and Reels’ which included dance instructions, a music CD and a dance demonstration DVD.  We are informed that this resource has recently become available on GLOW.  In addition, our Branch produced a resources pack of dances for children in 2020 – just before Covid.  It has dances written by local children, each with an original tune.  This is available on our website www.rscdsbanffshirewixsite.com at a very reasonable cost.  The recorded music is available free to download. These resources are easy to use and incorporate into the curriculum.  If it is helpful, we would be delighted to send one of our teachers into schools for a few sessions.
