A new funding stream will be launching soon. It will support clubs and organisations to provide opportunities for children and young people in Moray (ages 3–26) to get active, stay active and improve their lives.
Activities should be free, targeted or offered at a reduced cost to maximise engagement and address barriers to participation. Funding is for activity delivered from June 2026 to March 2027.

Clubs and organisations are encouraged to start developing ideas now. The Active Moray Working Group has agreed that applications can request up to £7,500.
Any sport clubs applying will be required to complete the club accreditation process with Moray Council. This is not applicable to other organisations such as NGBs.
The Community Sport Hub network isn’t just limited to hubs. It’s a vast network that includes member sports clubs and organisations from across Scotland. Together, they aspire to establish Community Sport Hubs in every one of the 32 local authorities in Scotland, fostering a vision of an active Scotland where everyone reaps the benefits of sport.
